
Blimp was born as a result of collaboration with a research group at the Politecnico di Milano.
In order to outline, and subsequently achieve, our mission, we started by analysing the methodologies with which Smart Cities measure movement in the urban environment by analysing all the data that a city is able to produce.
We soon realized the inadequacy of this data, both in terms of quality and quantity. We therefore decided to develop our own technology, based on proprietary sensors, focusing on three target markets: advertising, retail and smart city.
